When forming a peptide bond, does the ATP regenerate?

just curious, and i cant find a decent answer in my biochem book. When a peptide bond is formed, the carboxyl group is activated using ATP, binding one of the phosphate groups to the amino acid. Is the phosphate group recycled back into ATP? and if it is, how is it recycled!
