How do i make an equilateral trirangle in a circle?

im doing a sphere ornament you cut out circles and fold flaps up to form a triangle...i dont know the size of my circles (actually its the size of a cd) but i dont know how to make an equilateral triangle..i know i've learned this..but i'm not coming up with it...especially inside a circle lol
