Is Eastern Europe relatively safe to travel to?

Hey guys i may be travelling to Eastern Europe, specifically Hungary, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria. Are those countries fairly safe? Also do you think it would be worth missing school for and do flights get delayed in europe often? Thanks
