Why did Fall Out Boy spell their song, Thanks For the Memories without vowels?

I'm thinking and this is just a guest...that they wanted to play off the fact that a study was released about 2 years ago that says our brains can read words without vowels as long as it contains the first and last consonant. It seemed like an attempt to capitalize on that fact and try to be "witty".
