I am looking to receive a few used baby items which ones are ok used and which ones should be brand new?

I am to receive things like a crib, carseat, stroller, high chair, binet, diaper genie, clothes, bottles, and other various things. I am not sure about all of the above but I know people that said that they think that these things are still stored away but not sure. I know that there are regulations on some of these items. Can anyone help me out with which ones I can use and how old they can be before they can't be used anymore. First timer and confused!!
