Help me get my child off the pacifier?

she is 19 months old and i cannot get her off her nuk...i've tried cold turkey, weaning off, altering the nuk, soaking it in coffee. nothing works. she will scream bloody murder when it's taken. i can handle it during the day but at night she'll refuse to go to sleep and will be screaming and crying all night. is she going to have these things till she's 5? how do i get them off of her without this screaming?.
